100 Peaks Update - A long time coming
For those interested, here is a list of my gear that I have found works well for me. This is, of course, an affiliate link and your enjoyment of these may vary:

Due to a ton of factors, it's been pretty quiet around here. That doesn't mean I haven't been enjoying the outdoors, it's just that things have been getting in the way of my writing. Burger Bench has been keeping me pretty busy, and our family moved for the 6th time in five years last year. We are finally getting settled in again.
New Platform
100 Peaks has officially moved to SquareSpace. I got to try this platform out for the restaurant and I liked how it worked. For several years, I was on the Trail Sherpa's WordPress platform, but it was too complex and it wasn't quite as flexible as I'd hoped.
There are some formatting issues and the occasional broken links, so please let me know if you see something not quite right. I am going to spend some time reviewing the old content and reformatting it.
Adventures
I'll do some complete posts about some of these trips, but this past year has been a pretty amazing collection of traveling adventures.
100 Peaks Challenge
Many of you have had great success in going after the San Diego 100 Peaks Challenge. I've done a few peaks here and there, but some of you are getting close to being done. I have a lot of great ideas for next year. But for now, here is the official logo for the Challenge.
As you can see, it reaches from the coast to Cuyamaca Peak, with El Cajon Mountain in between. Look out for a finisher's party someone early in 2018.
What's Next?
Now that I've gotten the new site all set up, I will start writing a little more frequently. I hope you come along.
