Chicago Business Trip - Fall 2008

In September, we went back to Chicago for business. This time it was a little longer and we had a chance to get to know the city more. On the first day after dinner, we walked around Millenium Park, enjoying the sculptures. I had only my cell phone with me the first night. The weather was a lot warmer than last time and it was quite comfortable.

Since we wanted a great view of the city, we went to the Signature Room which is on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Center. I neglected to take my camera, but I was able to see the building from my hotel room. We walked to and from the building and got a sense of the northern end of the Magnificent Mile.

On several occasions, we had opportunities (and cravings) to eat of the original Uno Chicago Pizzeria built in 1943. My mouth is watering just thinking about the deep dish pizza with its biscuit-like dough.
